David has a proven track record in business development and corporate transformation, which he has honed while leading a brokerage firm, commercial bank and hospital network among many other undertakings. David is the Founder and Chief Executive of Andean Crown, President of Andean Crown SAFI, INTACTO Corredores de Seguros and INTACTO Corredores de Reaseguros. He has been General Manager of Pacífico Seguros, General Manager of the Banco de Crédito de Bolivia, General Manager of Credibolsa, Investment Banking Manager of the Banco de Crédito del Perú and Head of the Cabinet of Advisors of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Additionally, David has served as Director of COFIDE, the Fondo Consolidado de Reservas, InPerú, Pacífico Vida, Pacífico Salud, Sanna, Aliada, Clínica El Golf, Clínica San Borja and CARE-Perú as well as President of L+1, an organization that brings together leaders from different sectors, institutions and local governments to promote sustainable economic development in Peru and mitigate the effects of climate change. David obtained a BA (with honors) of Economics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada; a Master of Economics from Princeton University; and a Master of Science in Insurance Management from Boston University.
