The world needs cooperative solutions and global agreements to fight climate change. This year, the UN Climate Change Conference (COP25) was held in Madrid. Although no agreements were reached with regard to article 6 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the dialogue at the conference and the interventions of both government and private initiatives reflected consensus regarding the urgent need to take immediate efforts to reduce CO2 emissions worldwide. Bosques Amazónicos BAM participated in the conference as part of the private sector contingent of the Peruvian delegation to COP25.
